Please right-click the game's shortcut, go into Properties, click the Compatibility tab and try different compatibility modes. This will open Control Panel, and from here navigate to Power Options and change Power Saving Mode (it may be called Minimal Power Management) to something more power-intensive, like for example: High Performance.
Go to NVIDIA Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings, and make sure that the “Multi- display/mixed-GPU acceleration” is set to “Single Display performance mode.”Īnd press Ok. NVIDIA ONLY - SWITCH TO SINGLE DISPLAY PERFORMANCE MODE
#Adjust audiospeed unity windows 10#
To do this, Alt-Tab out of the game, go into the Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc), select the Processes (Details - Windows 10 users) tab, right-click the game's process, click "Set Affinity." and make sure that only "CPU 0" is selected, then click OK and go back to the game. Different games respond to VSync differently on different systems, and the result could be input lag, visual "tearing", or reduced framerate.ĬHECK IF THE GAME IS RUNNING ON MULTIPLE CORES AND, IF NEEDED, FORCE IT TO ONLY USE ONE Your audio file being delivered from RAM. Setting it to anything lower than 1 will be slow, higher than one will be fast. Using this method, you can optimize the time it takes to read the audio data by bypassing the storage medium and reading directly from the very fast memory. If results are not satisfying, you should experiment with different VSync settings in your graphics device control program. You can set the speed the audio is played by modifying the pitch value of the AudioSource. For older Intel graphics, please follow this article: Navigate to IntelHD Graphics Control Panel -> 3D -> General Settings -> Custom Settings -> Vertical Sync -> On Navigate to Catalyst Control Center -> Gaming -> 3D Application Settings -> All -> Wait for vertical refresh -> Change the slider to Quality to set V-sync to Always On Navigate to Radeon Settings -> Games ->select the game from the list -> Change Wait for vertical synchronization to Always on.
Navigate to NVIDIA Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> select the game from the list -> Set VSync to On. To do this, right-click an empty area on your desktop and select:
I know Unity itself has the pitch property but that changes both. What I want is the ability to time stretch audio clips, that is to change the tempo (length) of the clip without changing the pitch. If there is no such setting, try forcing these settings in your graphics card's drivers. I've looked all over for this and I haven't really found a way to do in unity without actually writing the algorithm for it. Check if the game allows you to enable or disable VSync (other possible names are vertical sync, vertical refresh and similar).
